Have you ever wanted the convenience of having coffee with out actually having to make it? While on a camping trip, in a cabin, office, or hotel room, the last thing I want to do it travel with my french press, wait for the brewer, or try a new coffee shop. I’m not a coffee snob by any means, I drink it everyday, and can sometimes go without. I don’t mean to sound like a salesman, but I’m really excited about this little coffee invention and want to share it with all of you coffee drinkers here.

Ever since my boyfriend brought me back these clever coffee filters from Japan, on-the-go coffee has been as simple as making tea (well, even more simple than making tea because you don’t have to wait for it to steep).

“Dorippu Ko-hi”, in Japanese, translates into “drip coffee”. They’re available at 7-Elevens in Japan, comes in packets of 10 and contain a single serving size in each packet. Simply designed, with a micro perforated filter allows water enough time to get well infused with coffee grind before it drips, while the overall pocket designs keep coffee grinds out and gives a large enough opening to pour water into. They’re so convenient I have a hard time not using one of these everyday. In four simple steps you can have gourmet brew coffee as fast as you can boil water!

Just tear.

Pull out the paper crutches and place over mug.

Pour boiled water.

Discard filter.

Enjoy! Voila! Instant satisfaction!
