
A lot of my friends don’t relate to my hippie-dippie-holistic ways. I find this to be a good challenge. It forces me to simplify what I know and explain it in “normal” terms. And so here I explain to you…the 7 Chakras.
I was first introduced to the Chakra system 10 years ago. It clicked with me instantly, somehow made total sense. It actually helped explain a few ailments in my body at the time. Plus how can you not approve of things that have color association?
In a nut-shell, everything in our bodies is connected. I think we can agree on that. What the 7 Chakras represent are different parts of our body and how they each relate to who we are.



Sometimes when we are stressed, sick, or depressed it can be traced back to an emotional problem. Often time the pain we feel in certain areas of our body can be explained via the Chakra chart. Our mental space and physical experience are extremely connected. Stress of the mind leads to stress in the body. The Chakra system, for me, is a a deeper look into it all:
