Transworld: Bridging the Gap

If you haven’t picked up the latest issue of TransWorld, it’s a must! The October issue features an article I am honored to have written; “Bridging The Gap: The Next Wave of Women’s Riding.” TransWorld hit me up in the spring about doing a feature on the state of women’s snowboarding, where it is currently and where it is headed. The article touches on three facets including competition, backcountry and the streets and includes insight from many pro girls like Burton’s own Kimmy Fasani and Kelly Clark. There’s a ton of amazing riding shots of the ladies killing it the past few seasons, like this sick shot of Transworld Women’s Rookie of the Year (and Burton rider) Enni Rukajarvi.

It was rad being able to talk to all the girls open and honestly about the industry and the direction things are moving in. It’s certainly an exciting time for women’s snowboarding and I hope this article will get more girls on the slopes and get everyone excited for what’s to come this season!
